Sleepy Squirrel

The many, many grey squirrels of Van Saun Park are fun to watch and photograph. They are used to humans, but thankfully not too tame, which is a good thing.

I hate that these animals are considered pests...they may raid bird feeders and chew through your roof, but remember that this rodent was here long before you were. They are merely being what they are, and I believe every animal has a purpose.

So the squirrel is and shall remain one of my favorite little critters. This cutie was just plum tuckered out, or perhaps he/she was getting bored of me taking about 100 photographs.
