LOL That's one grumpy looking red panda. Might be a little of my fault...I whistled and made kissing sounds until it opened its eyes. :aww:

I don't think he is grumpy looking, just dozy. No wonder when he was sleeping and you woke him up... ;) All in all it's a nice picture: The red Panda is very cute and I like point of view and colors, although I wish the focus would be on his eyes and not somewhere on his coat.

Thank you for the comments :) He did look annoyed to me but I guess it's all a matter of opinion. lol. I always try to focus on the eyes, but it does kinda look like the coat is slightly more sharp.

Maybe it's a problem with your objective lens that the focus it not where you wanted to have it? Maybe a Front- or Backfokus? But nevertheless it's a nice picture! And yes, of course it's a matter of opinion. :D

I wondered that. I may see a camera professional about seeing if the lens is calibrated properly. I did not have that problem with the T3, but it seems to be more of an issue with the T4i. Thank you for the helpful suggestions :)

Yeah, you should really try that. I think I might have the same problem with one of my lens, but till today I did not want to give it out of my hands, but I think I should do it soon, so it can be tested...

 It's a frustrating, annoying problem. But truth be told, some lenses just don't work well with certain cameras. In the end, I may sell this Tamron and get the Canon version, because the t4i has calibration software built in that works with most canon lenses.
